Em + Tracy met near the beginning of the pandemic. This might seem like less-than-ideal timing for a new couple, but for them it was the opposite — they attribute their whirlwind love to the weirdness of 2020. When the world paused, they had nothing but time to get to know each other, fall in love, and create a home together.
We shot their engagement at UC Davis, where they spent the first months of their relationship quarantined together in campus housing. Their connection is natural and easy and they are such a joy to photograph. I can’t wait to do it again for their 2022 wedding!
