Karen and Michael’s wedding felt like the perfect transition from summer to fall. The saturated yellows and magentas mixed with deep oranges and reds gave the day a feel of summer warmth and autumn coziness all at once. Karen and Michael went out of their way to make everyone — guests and vendors alike — feel welcome at their wedding. They laughed with their guests during the ceremony and immediately joined their group of friends for a cheers afterwards. They seemed to make time for every person in attendance, and more than a few times I found them holding or playing with their tiniest guests. They (alongside Jess of Joyeux Events) put a ton of behind-the-scenes effort into their wedding, but it came off as a well-decorated and relaxed afternoon with friends. I feel lucky to have gotten to know them and their vendor team over the last year!
