I may have fallen twice on our hike up Eagle mountain and I may still have a concerningly bruised butt from the second fall, but this session was WORTH. IT.
We started off at Mia and Kevin’s dreamy family cabin, drinking wine and photographing them in every light-soaked corner. Then the two of them got dressed up and we headed for the forest, where we were met with more beautiful light and bears! (*This is my third time coming across bears in the Tahoe wilderness — they are always friendly and it is always the COOLEST experience.) We eventually made our way up Eagle Mountain, a very short but very steep hike up to the most breathtaking view of Tahoe.
As we climbed (and fell) and explored, it was obvious that Mia and Kevin were in their natural habitat, immersed in nature and each other.
I’ve had the best time getting to know these two over the last few months and am counting down the days to their wedding this fall!
