This session. You guys. It hit every single one of my engagement session goals, to say the least.
As soon as I met Caitlinn and Lorrick upon booking their wedding, I knew they'd be a centerpiece of this year's portfolio. We sat down over coffee and they shared all the details about how they met, how they built their relationship, and now, how they'll kick off the rest of forever with each other. They are as bold in their love as they are in their personal style and I couldn't wait to see how those things came together in their engagement photos.
And of course, they didn't disappoint. They flew in from Las Vegas and I drove from Sacramento to meet at Land's End in San Francisco, home of the Sutro Baths that sit against the Pacific. Regardless of the predicted rain, Caitlinn showed up with a stunning gold dress and a bouquet of green florals to complement it. We ended up lucking out with no rain and just the right amount of clouds, sun, and wind to add some drama to the background. They froze their you-know-whats off in front of my camera but they didn't let that stop them from working. it. and filling up a 100+ image gallery.
If you ever need an extra push to go all out for an engagement session, use these two as your inspiration. Dress up, bring flowers, and don't hold back on the emotions. Your photographer will be forever thankful to you, as I am to Caitlinn and Lorrick. I can't wait to do it again for their Monterey wedding this November!
